Welcome to the interactive preview of the Cost Control Video Seminar. This application uses AI to help you navigate and learn from Lin Pardey's cruising wisdom.

GETTING STARTED
---------------

1. THE VIDEO FILE (REQUIRED)
Crucial: To protect copyright and ensure high-performance playback, this app DOES NOT STREAM THE VIDEO FROM THE CLOUD. You must have a local copy of the "Cost Control" video file on your computer.

    a. Open the application URL.
    b. Click the "LOAD VIDEO" button (or the large Play icon) in the center of the player.
    c. Choose the mp4/mkv file of the Lin Pardey seminar from your hard drive.
    d. The app will immediately link the video to the interactive transcript and AI.

2. PERMISSIONS
When prompted, please ALLOW MICROPHONE ACCESS. This enables the "Listening" feature so you can talk directly to the Bosun AI.

* Tip: If you are viewing this app within an iframe and the microphone doesn't seem to respond, click the "Open in new tab" button for the most stable experience.

KEY FEATURES
------------

THE BOSUN AI ASSISTANT (NOW WITH MEMORY)
The "Bosun" is your guide. Located at the bottom of the screen, you can either TYPE your questions or click the MICROPHONE icon to speak.

* CONTEXT AWARENESS: The Bosun now remembers previous turns in your conversation. You can refer back to earlier questions, ask follow-up questions, or say "Tell me more about that."
* TRY ASKING: "What does Lin say about fuel costs?" or "How do I choose the right boat?"
* CONTEXTUAL JUMPING: When the Bosun answers, look for a "JUMP TO VIDEO" button in the chat bubble. Clicking it will automatically seek the video to the specific timestamp discussed.

MUSICAL INTERLUDES
For a bit of entertainment between lessons:
* QUERY: Ask the Bosun to "play some music" or "start a musical interlude."
* BEHAVIOR: The Bosun will acknowledge the request, and the video will automatically jump to one of the relaxing musical segments in the seminar.

VOICE & LISTENING
* BOSUN VOICE: Toggle the "Voice" switch to have the Bosun speak his replies out loud.
* LISTENING MODE: Click the "Listening" microphone to speak your queries. The waveform shows your voice activity.

MANUAL NAVIGATION
* SIDEBAR: Open the sidebar (top-left on mobile, always visible on desktop) to see the full list of chapters.
* PROGRESS TRACKING: As the video plays, the chapter list highlights your current position.
